Together, we’ll tailor a counseling experience that reflects your sensibility and needs. With each modality, I’ll assist you in identifying and working through obstacles that hinder your creativity, health, wellbeing, and productivity. More specifically, my counseling modalities are designed to help you do the following:
- Design plans and routines that help you take concrete steps in beginning the next phase of your personal journey.
- Provide you with body/mind tools to help you address anxiety, depression, and other negative emotions.
- Identify and move beyond obstacles that get in the way of feeling at home in your body by addressing issues of bodily health, gender identity, body image, and sexuality.
- Assess your ‘relational map’, thinking through how to best foster and sustain nurturing and productive relationships with friends, partners, family, and with others in your community.
Individual Counseling
Trained as a mental health counselor, I received my master’s degree in counseling psychology from Antioch New England University. I bring foundational elements of cognitive therapy, Gestalt therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy to my work, understanding individuals as a developmental and relational whole. Together, we will zero in on specific challenges that may be hindering your ability to uncover and fulfil your life’s meaning and purpose. My work is ‘client centered’ in that I assist you in naming and determining your own goals, values, and vision for a future in which you actualize your potential to thrive in your relationships with others, in your life’s work, and within yourself.

Life Coaching
As a life coach, I support you in navigating the many dimensions of life—career development, relationships, finances, wellness, and creativity. Together, we’ll clarify the goals and priorities that energize you and identify the obstacles that may be holding you back from a greater sense of well-being. Unlike counseling, which often focuses on past trauma and mental health diagnoses, life coaching is future-focused. It offers a structured, supportive space for problem-solving, personal growth, and empowered decision-making. We’ll build effective systems and craft an actionable, step-by-step plan tailored to your vision. Life coaching combines encouragement with accountability, helping you move intentionally toward a life that feels more joyful, meaningful, and aligned with who you truly are.As a coach with a deep understanding of neurodiversity, I’m especially passionate about working with clients who identify as autistic, ADHD, or otherwise neurodivergent. I offer a strengths-based, judgment-free space that honors your unique ways of thinking, feeling, and processing. Here, you don’t have to mask. Instead, we’ll co-create personalized strategies that celebrate your creativity, insight, and individuality—supporting you in building a life on your own terms.

Couples Counseling
Couples counseling provides a dynamic and safe container in which to explore ‘what is working’ and ‘what to work on’ within a relationship. Together, we will explore the culture of your relationship, strengthening communication skills to build greater mutual recognition and empathy. I will assist you in identifying challenging relational patterns while supporting you in taking strategic steps to transform your relationship into one that aligns with your values and vision. Cultivating the capacity to tolerate and negotiate differences can be a couple’s greatest strength, allowing a couple’s differences to become sources of productive complementarity.

Family Counseling
I offer families a safe and collaborative container in which to understand and work through their challenges together. I see each family as a dynamic system in which each individual shapes and impacts the whole. I assist families in refining communication, navigating conflicts, and fortifying their relationships by facilitating open dialogue and mutual respect. Whether addressing mental health concerns, life transitions, medical challenges, or relationship struggles, I guide families in cultivating healthier interaction patterns and coping strategies. Drawing from a variety of therapeutic models, each session is designed to meet a family’s unique needs and relational style, with the goal of creating a deeper sense of connectedness, resilience, and emotional well-being for all members

Tree of Life (™)
Specialized Meditation Instruction
Mental health professionals increasingly include meditation techniques in their treatment tool kit. Decades of research show that regular meditation can improve mental health by resetting the nervous system and bridging new neural networks in the brain. As a dedicated meditator for over forty years, I have sought to create an optimal meditation experience. I have developed an original meditation technique called Tree of Life Meditation (™) which combines mindfulness and contemplative modes of meditation. My technique includes the Zen practice of counting breaths with contemplative visualization techniques organized around the concept and image of the tree of life. In addition to using this meditation practice within the therapeutic session, I teach you how to develop a practice at home that is central to your tool kit for self-care.

Therapeutic Art
Therapeutic art combines counseling psychology with visual art and creative writing, creating life-changing experiences that compliment other therapeutic modalities. Together, we’ll use mediums of creative writing and journaling while also using pen and ink, acrylic, and mixed media such as collage to help you tell stories about life experiences as well as stories about where you want your life to go. To benefit from therapeutic art, you don’t need to be a writer or an artist. Therapeutic art is a judgement-free modality designed for everyone, incorporating the whole brain to develop our understanding of many areas of emotional, physical, and spiritual life. You may find that your goal is to experience the process of creating therapeutic art, assembling an art journal that contains a record of your journey. Or, you may choose to create a finished piece of writing or hangable wall art that reflects and reminds you of your personal intentions, aspirations, and affirmations for personal growth. Regardless of how your creative path unfolds, my intention is to help you to use creative writing and visual art to reduce stress, fatigue, and negative motion while also improving your quality of life.
